THESE FRESH HOPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR DELIVERY IN SEASON WHICH IS FROM THE END OF AUGUST TO THE MIDDLE OF SEPTEMBER.
Hops have been used as a traditional decoration for hundreds of years. As soon as our hops are ready to harvest, we package and deliver them fresh to your door. Hop bines are normally between 8 - 10ft long and can be displayed in many creative and decorative ways: along beams, over cupboards and doorways or cut to any length to use in flower arrangements.
- Decorate your home or venue this season with luxurious and traditional Autumn foliage
- Easy to display, drying naturally in situ
- Arrives to you in August or September
- If you have a preferred date of delivery then please let us know
- The perfect gift idea
- Colourful, therapeutic and said to have a beneficial, calming aroma
Please note that each plant is different and the length and bushiness may alter from year to year depending on the growing season.
Hop bines will naturally have fewer hops towards the end of the bine. Larger gaps can be filled using stems from the bushier parts of the bine - just break off and poke them through the central string and bine where desired to make the perfect garland! For a fuller garland, we recommend purchasing two bines and wrapping them together.
On rare occasions you may find some little creatures hiding in your bine! It would be impossible for us to make sure no little creatures make their way to you as some are very good at hiding within the hops themselves. Very occasionally, on receipt of your hop bine you may find a number of small little green aphids. If this happens we suggest hanging the bine as you normally would and the aphids will drop out and die over 3 -4 days. Just hoover them up and enjoy your lovely hops!
DELIVERY INFORMATION
Your hop bine will be sent out with DPD on a next day service. The hops need to be removed from the box and hung as soon as possible so please let us know if you have a preferred date for delivery (between late August and mid September) or if there are days that we need to avoid.
